Sheet of cardboardIt’s a feeling of soft pressure, almost. Heat so intrusive that it seems to wrap you right up; cocooned in moisture, even as the temperature continues to rise. There’s a smokey, fatty smell which lingers in the air, making you feel greasy and a little dizzy. The whole place feels like it needs cleaning, and really, it does. He avoids the spider web cracks in the footpath. Cars screech and putt through the intersection; People push past him on all sides. It’s not like they haven’t seen him, god they all stare like he’s part of a freak show. They just don’t care.Sheet of cardboard
